Abstract

The purpose of this resarch is to find the competencies that predict to lead to an effective performance for Account Officer (Funding Sales) managers and that AO can be developed through these competencies. Research Methodology use sample AO managers that average and superior performance at a government bank which numbered 40 in West Java. Data was collected by questionnaire ordinal of competence and questions about the need for technical competence. Respondents were shown a selection of the level of competence and technical competence. Then the data is processed by classifying AO average and superior performance, furthermore use statistically test with Mann-Whitney test. Research Finding that there are eight competencies that differentiate AO average and superior performance, namely: Achievement Orientation, Information Seeking, Relationship Building, Problem Solving, Self Confidence, Organization Commitment, Communication and Flexibility. The implications of this research could be used for development & training AO, through Competencies are means of ensuring that an organization’s investment in her people supports the achievement of strategic goals. They can be used to hire the best available people, align behaviour with organizational strategies and values. Keywords: Competency, Superior Performance, Training

Abstract

This study aims to determine the basic economic sector in Bekasi and determine the strategy of development of the leading economic sector so that programs and activities and activities can be conducted related to the increase in purchasing power of people. The method used in this research is Located Quotient (LQ) and SWOT analysis. LQ is used to determine the base and non-base sectors whereas the SWOT analysis is used to determine the strategy to be used to increase purchasing power of people. The strategy to increase purchasing power in Bekasi is the development of the leading economic sector with several programs. The program is done to increase employment and income per capita so that the purchasing power of Bekasi also increased. Keywords: Purchasing power, LQ, SWOT

Abstract

The purposes of the research are: (1) to know the idea of place branding, (2) to know the idea of the decision to visit a tourism attraction, (3) to know the influence of place branding upon the decision to visit a tourism attraction. The object of the research is the domestic tourists who visit one of twenty nine tourism attractions in Garut. The method used in this research is verified descriptive. The data source used in this research is primary and secondary. From the total population of 2.442.147 people, the researcher takes the sample of a hundred people. The probability sampling, especially cluster sampling, is a sampling technique that the researcher chooses. The data collection technique is held through interview, observation, questionnaire, and literature study. To scale how much the influence of place branding upon the decision to visit a tourism attraction, the researcher uses the data analysis technique of path by using software SPSS 18. keyword: place branding, Garut, destination

Abstract

This study titled: incentives affect the performance of employees of PT. Ateja Tritunggal in West Bandung regency. Initial research indicates that in recent years there has been a decrease in performance related to the incentives given to employee companies. The purpose of this study is to find out how much incentives affect the performance of employees of PT. Ateja Tritunggal in West Bandung regency. The method of this research is descriptive and associative research, with data coming from responses 85 respondents. Data analysis used with simple linear regression analysis. The result of descriptive analysis shows that Incentives and Performance have good average value based on standard weight classification. Associated with the existing phenomenon of this condition still needs to be improved again so as to achieve a very good condition, while the influence of incentives to employee performance of 68.90%. This is because incentives are motivation or encouragement that is needed by employees means that the better the incentive will be able to improve the performance of employees of PT. Abstract

This study explain the calculation of market risk of VaR (in this case is the risk of equity. The data used in this study are the dominating shares in the telecommunication sector of Indonesia Stock Exchange. Research is obtained from the reference source and use secondary data. The observation period is done during three years with daily period. The research methodology used to measure the biggest potential risk (loss) caused by investing in telecommunication stock index is Value at Risk (VaR) approach using Variance-Covariance Method Based on the result of research, ISAT has a higher level of volatility compared to others, thus indicating a higher market risk. Abstract

This research is intend to get the empirical evidence of the effect of motivation of work, style of leadership, diciplin of work, to the performance of the accompany volunteers of community (TPM) in Kabupaten Cirebon.The result of this research are expected contibute to improve the management science especially of the human resourches management. For the similar institution and practioners, the research hopely give the usefull information over the motivation of work, style of leadership, dicipline of work, to the performance of the accompany volunteers of community.Survey method and quantitative research used in this research. Path analysis method was used in this research to make the test of check to hypothesis.The result of this research indicated there’s a positive correlation and significantly between the motivation ot work, style of leadership, dicipline of work, toward performance in a manner simultaneously. Whereas in manner partially indicated positively correlation dan significantly between motivation of work to ward performance, style of leadership indecated positively corrlation and significantly toward performance, and dicipline of work indicated positively correlation and significantly toward perfomance. In addition, also in this research come of the fact that motivation of work to form a factor that gives biggest effect if compared to another factor.
